The Lopez Grange welcomes us once more for the sweet indoor winter market this Saturday. We have been sending you all sorts of e-mails this week, so I will keep this simple. The market will be hopping with The Palinka Gypsy Band and an afternoon guest performance by the Faux Paws.
Your Barn Owlies will be warming up our delicious flatbread pizzas in the Grange oven and serving them with with fresh Lopez greens!
Oh, also…did we mention that at one of our first visits to the Grayling Gallery, a Barn Owl was resting up at the rafters over the front door, and then flew silently off, leaving us rather in awe and a little in love?
And after you fill up on market treats, those of you able and interested in getting dirty and doing some hard clearing out work (we completely do not expect to see a big crowd, so don’t feel you have to show up by any means!) can meet us over at Grayling Ln for our initial work party to get the place cleared and ready for its new floor plan. We will be thrilled to have whatever help you can muster. We’ll be at 108 Grayling Ln on SUNDAY starting around 11am. Thank you!

Wild Leavened Breads
Village Country Bread- Slab off a thick slice, fry it on the griddle with unheard of quantities of fresh organic pastured butter, sprinkle with San Juan sea salt…Tea and Toast, get’s us through the day.
Miche – Like the those full moons; round and generous, luminous, and loving. The whole island howled.
Millet Apricot- perfect fried in butter on your heavy iron griddle.
Heritage Hearth – heady flavor and real nutrition. The roots of these grains reach deep.
Tordu- French for twisted, also like a crazy idea or a bizarre story. Like where the baker takes a perfectly lovely dough, shapes it into a very nice, even, respectable baguette, then at the last minute rings it up like a wet towel and calls it good!
Gluten Free Sliced– Whole grains, no gluten, wild leavened… joy fills those who take it home.
Mountain Bread – The classic dense Danish style rye bread, loaded up with seeds, whole grains, plump raisins, beer, and a pinch of honey. A sweet/savory decadent way to begin or end a day.

Lopez Apple Scones-We will never turn down an apple scone, eat them all the way to rhubarb season.
