Pick up your Fresh Bread and Pastries at Midnight’s Farm 9am to 2pm Tomorrow! (4/10)

Hello all,

We have bread and pastries slowly rising, ready to be baked bright and early for tomorrow’s Bakery Farmstand Open House (okay, we aren’t totally sure what to call it still, but we’re open for you to buy fresh yummy baked goods, does it really need a name?)

For now, Wednesdays are your only chance for weekly all organic, whole and heritage grain, naturally leavened pastries (and a special market-only bread) from us as we are not doing the last two Grange Winter Markets. This was a move of self-preservation with the amount of work we have ahead of us putting together the new bakery and gives a chance for our bakery team to have a nice breath of air and a little space away from the work of making our beautiful breads. We all want  to be able to have a fresh start to another summer and fall season.
It is definitely significant for us, to let the Grange market carry on sans Barn Owl, this winter market is crucial to us being a viable year-round operation and we love the connection with the other vendors and customers and we’ve never missed a market before (except in a snow storm). So please, continue to go to the Grange for the sweet company, eats, and music this Saturday and pick up some extra treats from us this Wednesday to heat up for a weekend snack. (Okay, yes i remember you can also get pastries at Isabel’s on Saturday as usual, so you can do that too!)

Country Bread – your daily bread. It’s good old, it’s special fresh. 

Seedy Everything bread- so good for Spring picniking
Sourdough Croissants and their Chocolate variation – these really are pretty special 25 minutes out of the oven. Heritage grain, whole pastured butter, goodness.
Blueberry Peach Scones – Wow, the rhubarb is slow this year…let’s hear it for the effort to can and freeze in the throes summer.

Peach Blueberry Gluten Free Oat Scones– Thanks be to the extra effort to preserve island summer fruit!

Savory veggie hand pies – a quick savory bite loaded with island grown goodness straight from the farms of Lopez, all local!   
Puff Pastry Pizzas – We’ll have a few of these with all sorts of savory winter delights!
Strawberry Buns – rich condensed apple butter cinnamon butter, all twisted up in our naturally leavened laminated dough.
Apple Struesel Galettes- can’t go wrong…
Sprouted Lopez Whole Grain Rosemary Shortbread- has a following….
Mostly self serve, Arthur will be around to field any pressing concerns, we’ll see you all tomorrow.
